YOU’RE INVITED! We’re at Material Matters London 15-17 September

September 6, 2026

The Or Foundation MTTL is proud to present Foose Materials at Material Matters during London Design Week.

When: 15-17 September 2026
Where: Unlocked Shoreditch
118 Curtain Road, London, ECZA 3PJ

It’s FREE to attend but you must pre-register here.

Featured at the fair will be products made from two distinct recycling processes both making use of textiles that would otherwise have gone unsold and left Kantamanto as waste.

Cassaboard is a recycled biocomposite developed from post-consumer clothing waste recovered from Kantamanto Market and cassava-based binders, a locally abundant agricultural resource. Cassaboard is the base for our Foose Acoustics line, which will be on display.

Cassaboard making process.

Tarnty is a circular yarn developed by The Or Foundation from discarded t-shirts after identifying t-shirts as one of the most common types of unsold garments in Kantamanto. Secondhand clothing is shipped to Ghana from around the world, including from the UK, Europe, China and the USA (often via Canada) where single use t-shirts sourced for sporting events, conferences, concerts, marathons, hen dos and other personal celebrations are a consistent source of waste from both overproduction and unwanted consumption. Each ball of Tarnty is made from one t-shirt and can be used for knitting, crochet, weaving and other crafts. Various applications will be on display.

Come test Foose Materials for yourself and meet the team behind our recycled materials and products.

Hope to see you there!
